CHRISTMAS DECANTERS
There were 21 commemorative Christmas decanters issued under the 'Wheaton' name in the years 1971 - 1991. During the first 5 yrs, the decanters were made by the Nuline division of Wheaton Glass Co. on automatic production machines. In 1976 the production was turned over to Wheaton Village and was hand made in their 1888 glass factory. Production was limited to 5000 decanters. In 1982 these decanters were made by Millville Art Glass Co. The 1982 Decanter still carried the 'Wheaton Village' name on the bottom. In 1983 the bottom only had 'Wheaton' to indicate they were a continuation of the series using the same original designs and artists
Millville Art Glass also designed & produced cup plates to match these bottles to view them Click Here
